Highways do have their own ways

It is not often that you find yourselves standing on the sides of a highway. Every single vehicle in its super speed possible progressing toward its destination, the powerful gushes of wind from both the sides trying to decide the destiny of the swaying trees, the countless buses and taxis stopping to let the prospective travelers hop on, or dropping the passengers who finally have reached one step closer to their destinations. All the faces eager to get somewhere, somewhere in time. Even the darkness of the misty night cannot not conceal their perturbs, varied mixed feelings and the acts of calculating their ETA. How wonderful is that two people getting in a same vehicle, covering the same distance for a while are on an altogether different journey.

I have always found the highways a bit eerie. Those speedy cars you feel will never stop for anyone, the disconnected fellow travelers, the long broad roads which extend into vastness and the powerful war of the winds. But while the small residential roads give you a warm hug, the highways let you dream big, chase and race. In our lives we need both of these residential roads and the highways to reach our destinations. So if you are one of those people who have all your lives focused on the highways (minting money and gaining success ) then you are missing out on the warmth of life. These ill-made rocky residential roads may not provide you the easy access to destinations but they do provide you the time to slow down and introspect. For how long do you think you can wander on the highways, when eventually your hearts are rooted in those rocky narrow roads. Do dream and achieve big but never forget the little things that took you there.

Every thing in this world works on balance. If any balance is disturbed, it needs to be restored. We are now living in a place where winters have been cut short, scorching summers have been extended, autumn comes and goes as it likes and spring seems to be lost somewhere. We often lose the good things, when we are not paying attention and we do not pay attention when we become too busy. While wandering on the highways do remember your ties to those narrow roads. We all have our shares of rides on highways and the rocky roads. Do make every ride count. Until I stand on the highway next time waiting for my friends dig on this one.

The WINNER - Be the best judge

This is to the times we feel lost or confused. Life and people have us baffled sometimes. There is always something or someone which/who rises as a winner. As the nature has it, between two things one will always be stronger and surfaced. Be it the fight between the X and the Y chromosome fighting to be a zygote. It all starts right before we are even born. There will always be a brand we find better than the other, a time of the year more soothing than the rest of it, an actor, a festival, a career, a subject, a day, a number which appeals to us. Surprisingly this is how we were raised. In our childhood, there were people who would pose a question to us and I quote "which one do you like better- mom or dad?."

We are always given choices and we mean to choose the best for us. Then there are somethings we embrace in spite of there being better options for us. And these things/people are always special. Sometimes carrying a pepper spray or knowing martial arts is not going to keep us from hurting since we and our choices render us hurting quite perennially. They say prevention is better than cure but sometimes savoring the cure phase is pertinent to know the importance of prevention. With every heart beat we put ourselves in a prone to miseries state. But when we have survived the storm, we emerge like that warrior in the war for whom his scars from the wars become his medallions. When the storm has stopped, the sun is up and roads clear up without a trace of rains and nature's fury, we learn to forget that it even happened. At younger age I was told that time waited for none and somehow it conveyed that time was bad, selfish and impatient touch in life . As I have grown, I have realized that time has the perfect attitude and it is only wise to never wait for someone or something which was never worthy. Somethings becomes tales, some our past, our present and future, some our splendid memories, and if I see deeply, there is only one things that is constant in all of the above and that would be us. If we have created these once, we sure can do it again. Some characters stay and some do not. But then it is our tale to tell. It is our memory to treasure. And it sure is our past, present and future. And as long as we believe in our magic, we know we can be pretty constant in them. If I you are not a character in someone's life tale, then probably they are missing that superstar in their blockbuster. As I said there will always be one which will be the winner and surface and that must be what is good.

Choose your winners in life wisely. Because sometimes they come in disguise.
